  • I have 16 years of experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner with broad-based
experience in acute and chronic care, bio-HRT, psychiatric care, weight loss, women/men’s health, infant to elderly care, functional and regenerative medicine and wellness visits.

  • Skilled at procedures including skin biopsies, wound care, suturing, podiatric procedures, joint injections, casting, IUDs/PAPs and other general clinic procedures.
I have expertise in the geriatric population, including dementias, internal medicine and psychiatric illness. For the last 6 years, I have included housecall visits to my practice, where the provider comes to the patient in assisted living facilities or at home.
  • I have 14 years of experience with hospice and palliative care.
  • 8 years working in podiatry; preventative foot care, injections, ingrown nail removal and more.
  • 5 years of being a qualified medical provider for medicinal cannabis.
I wanted to be a nurse since I was a little girl. Probably because my mom was one. I was always taking care of people in my youth. I had this drive to help people and have a career in nursing, which not only allowed for me to care for patients in various patient care settings, but also led me to educate future nurses and then to a post-master’s degree in family practice. I have my LPN/AND (1194/1996) and BSN through Weber State University (2002); MSN through University of Phoenix (2004) and a post master’s certificate in nurse practitioner in 2008. With my education and experience, I can help people even more than I had dreamed, which has been a blessing! I also have a passion for providing community, patient and family education.
(I thoroughly enjoy being a nurse practitioner and so grateful for the opportunity to care for so many people throughout my career in so many different aspects. Helping patients and families in any capacity is a complete joy. I have 5 children and 2 grandchildren from a foster daughter. My children are my best accomplishment! I don’t have a lot of free time but enjoy spending time with family and friends.)
