W. Matthew Hall brings extensive legal and business expertise to Happy Valley Regeneration as a member of our legal team. With over a decade of experience as General Counsel for innovative companies, Matthew provides strategic guidance on regulatory compliance, business operations, and corporate governance.
Matthew most recently served as General Counsel and CFO at Limitless Flight, Inc., where he co-founded the world's first virtual reality based wingsuit flight simulator and has helped raise over $9M in capital funding while ensuring regulatory compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
At SUSE LLC, Matthew was selected to join the spinout team when Micro Focus sold SUSE to private equity investors. There, he provided legal guidance on employee matters, led high-value M&A activity and supported enterprise sales executives in transactions with Fortune 100 clients.
Previously at Micro Focus Software, he led a team of attorneys supporting the heritage Novell, Attachmate, and SUSE business units, where he drafted and negotiated strategic alliance agreements with industry leaders such as Microsoft, Amazon, and Dell. He was consistently recognized for delivering responsive and actionable legal guidance to both internal and external stakeholders.
As former General Counsel at InsideSales.com, Matthew guided the company through significant growth from $8M to $100M in annual sales while overseeing its legal strategy during $200M in venture financing. His background spans intellectual property management, regulatory compliance, corporate governance, and commercial contracts.
Matthew holds a Juris Doctor, Summa Cum Laude, from J. Reuben Clark Law School at Brigham Young University, where he graduated in the top 5% of his class. He also earned a Bachelor of Science with dual majors in Finance and Economics from Utah State University.
In his spare time, Matthew enjoys all things outdoors - skiing, snowboarding, mountain biking, kite boarding, and hiking.
